Commercial Insurance Marketplace

What to include in a commercial insurance marketplace pilot

Scope a limited marketplace pilot around a clear workflow, evidence and success criteria.

A pilot should answer a defined question with a bounded group, workflow and time period. State what is being evaluated and what is outside scope. Agree the participating roles, data used, access controls and how users can report problems.

Design the workflow

Choose a small set of observable measures tied to the pilot objective, such as completion of agreed workflow steps or the quality of captured responses. Define the source and owner for each measure before the pilot begins. Avoid using activity counts as a proxy for customer or commercial outcomes without evidence.

Test and govern

Prepare onboarding, support, escalation and exit plans. Record baseline assumptions and known limitations. At the end, reconcile the evidence and decide whether to stop, adjust or propose a further stage. A pilot is a way to learn, not proof of production readiness. This is a proposed approach, not an announcement of a live VYPR marketplace.

Define the source of truth, accountable owner and exception path before implementation. Test representative scenarios and retain the evidence needed to review outcomes. This practical guidance does not make a claim about a specific VYPR product capability.
