Coordinating onboarding tasks across marketplace participants

A neutral operating model for coordinating onboarding work, owners and open dependencies across participants.

Onboarding a new participant can involve several teams, each with its own prerequisites and evidence. A shared task map can make dependencies visible while leaving each participant responsible for its own decisions and requirements.

Define tasks and ownership

Describe each task in plain language, name the accountable role and state what evidence demonstrates completion. Identify which task depends on another and what source defines the dependency.

Separate progress from approval

Use distinct states for not started, in progress, awaiting information and completed. Where an accountable reviewer must approve a step, represent that approval separately from technical completion. Do not infer approval because a document was uploaded or a checklist item was marked complete.

Manage changes and exceptions

  • Record changes to requirements with their source and effective date.
  • Keep conflicting information visible until its owner resolves it.
  • Track blocked tasks with a next action and dependency owner.
  • Retain a traceable record of handoffs and completion evidence.

Review the task map with participating teams before relying on it operationally. This generic coordination model makes no claim about VYPR functionality, integrations, insurer access or marketplace outcomes.
